The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of results for the 2025 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

In a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday, WAEC confirmed, “The results of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2025 – First Series have been released.”

However, some candidates have expressed frustration over difficulties in accessing their results.

One user, Ephrata, shared their experience, stating, “I checked mine now, and it says my card has been used by another candidate. This is my first time using it. I even bought a scratch card, but I’m getting the same response. Please, I need a reply on what’s wrong so I can take the next steps.”

Similarly, another user, @endowedToBad, raised concerns about unresolved issues from the previous year, saying, “My student has not been able to check the Nov/Dec 2024 result till now.”

Meanwhile, @Bigname reported challenges with re-downloading their photo card to retrieve the result pin, as the system displayed a message stating that registration was not allowed at the time. Another user, @Trillions, also shared a screenshot of an error message received while attempting to access their result.

WAEC is yet to respond to these complaints, but candidates experiencing difficulties are advised to contact the examination body for assistance.
