The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has recently launched a new portal, subeb.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng, aimed at recruiting a substantial number of teachers and caregivers across the state. This initiative was announced by Dr. Nureni Adeniran, the chairman of SUBEB, during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Agodi, Ibadan.
Starting from June 25th, 2024, at 6 pm, the portal will be accessible for a period of three weeks. Dr. Adeniran talked about the importance for potential applicants to quickly provide accurate information and upload the required documents during this time to ensure their eligibility for consideration.
Dr. Adeniran stated that the recruitment process will be very transparent and fair. He assured the public that all decisions will be based solely on merit. Successful candidates will undergo rigorous assessments, including computer-based tests and oral interviews. To keep the process secure, applicants are strongly advised not to share their email addresses or National Identification Numbers (NIN) with anyone else.

Step 1: Visit the Online Portal: Go to the Oyo State Teachers recruitment online portal.
Step 2: Register for an Account: Click on “Apply Now” and create an account. Provide your email address, phone number, and create a password.
Step 3: Activate Your Account: Check your email for an activation link. Click on it to activate your account.
Step 4: Log in to Your Account: Use your registered phone number and password to log in.
