Popularly called “Ladoja NANS”, the NANS Presidential candidate 2025 said the President has again demonstrated his priority for education and its unique influence on social development throughout the country.

“Today is one of the happiest days of my life, as a Nigerian youth and student.

“The action of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is remarkable, revealing an intentional effort to invest in the future and greatness of education.

“It reveals a strong will to shape the trajectory of our educational system, redefine its performance, and place the sector on the pedestal of competing with many other developing countries of the world.

“More significantly in this allocation is the unspoken commitment of His Excellency, Mr President, to partnering with stakeholders in Nigeria’s education sector and to reinforce that the days of laxity within this social spectrum are over; it is no longer going to be business as usual.

“Your Excellency, I applaud this great feat that you have achieved for this great country and the recognition that you have given to Nigerian students and youths. Mr. President, we are grateful for this monumental departure from the era when our educational sector could be described as declining in quality and value. This allocation is a worthwhile investment that will boost the fortunes of the sector and advance quality teaching and production of learning resources that will stand the test of time.

“We, the Nigerian students and youths, see this allocation as experimental, indicating that there are better days ahead for our education sector. This step marks the beginning of the great and better financing of Nigeria’s education sector, increasing the prospects of quality teaching, learning, and knowledge production to influence adequate social change across all spheres of Nigerian society, “Ladoja added.

He enjoined stakeholders in the sector to key into President Tinubu’s vision for education by deploying resources in the budget for the good of students in Nigeria.
