The NDA (Nigerian Defence Academy) Boarding Secondary School, Afaka, Kaduna, has announced the commencement of online applications for admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS 1) for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The online application process began on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, and will close on Friday, June 26, 2024. Interested applicants are required to purchase a non-refundable online application form for the sum of Five Thousand, Two Hundred Naira (₦5,200).
According to the admission notice on the school’s website, the online application form is open for eligible boys and girls seeking admission into JSS 1.
The entrance examination, consisting of written and oral interview components, is scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 7:30 AM, at designated examination centers nationwide.
Guidelines and Requirements
- Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age for JSS 1.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally fit, with a certificate of medical fitness from a reputable military hospital.
- Applicants must be of good character, with evidence provided from their former schools.
Application Process
- Visit the school’s portal at https://ndabssafaka.com.ng.
- Sign up using a valid email address.
- Purchase the non-refundable online application form for ₦5,200.
- Complete and submit the application form online.
- Print out the transaction ID that appears after successful submission.
- Obtain the examination Photo Cards from the portal and present them at the examination center on the day of the Entrance Examination.
- Pass the written and oral placement examinations with an average score of not below 60 percent.
The NDABSS Afaka is the first and only boarding secondary school owned by a tri-service institution in Nigeria.
