Among the innovative projects displayed were an automatic fire detection system and an online voting application designed to facilitate participation by Nigerians living abroad.
Students also showcased advanced drone technology aimed at resolving long-standing conflicts between farmers and herders, demonstrating how innovation could contribute to peacebuilding efforts in the country.
At the closing ceremony, Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, highlighted how technology and innovation are key to sustainable growth. He expressed hope in Nigeria’s ability to use technology for development and urged participants to keep using their creativity and skills to help the nation progress.
