The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it will commence the sale of Direct Entry (DE) forms for candidates seeking admission into higher institutions on Wednesday, March 12.

This was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by JAMB’s Communications Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.

According to Benjamin, the registration process is essential for individuals with degrees, diplomas, or A-level certificates who wish to further their education at their preferred universities.

The sale of DE forms follows the successful completion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application process, which ended on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

“During this period, JAMB recorded a total of 2,030,627 registrations for the 2025 UTME, alongside 200,115 for the Mock-UTME and 630 applications for the trial mock,” he stated.

He further stressed JAMB’s commitment to ensuring strict compliance with entry requirements, warning that candidates found guilty of submitting false declarations would face severe penalties.

“A special committee will verify all submitted Advanced A Level qualifications, and any fraudulent results will lead to prosecution. Additionally, institutions are encouraged to verify certificates directly before granting admission,” he added.

Benjamin also noted that DE registration would only be conducted at JAMB Professional Registration Centres (PRC).
