The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a change in the date for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), moving it from April 5 to April 10, 2025.

According to JAMB, the rescheduling aims to finalize all necessary preparations while integrating new innovations and improvements. The adjustment also accounts for the increased number of examination centers set for the 2025 exercise, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates.

JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, confirmed this in a statement, emphasizing that the mock UTME, initially scheduled for Saturday, April 5, will now be held on Thursday, April 10. Meanwhile, the main UTME remains set to begin on April 25, 2025.

“In adherence to global best practices and research-driven advancements in examination procedures, the Board recognizes the need for innovative approaches to maximize the effectiveness of the mock UTME,” Benjamin stated.

Candidates are advised to stay alert for updates regarding the printing of their mock examination notification slips, which will include details of their assigned test centers.
