Eligibility Requirements:

To apply for the UBC International Scholars Program, candidates must:

  • Be an international student studying on a Canadian study permit.
  • Apply directly from a recognized secondary school or transfer from a first-year post-secondary program.
  • Have graduated from high school no earlier than November 2023.
  • Apply for their first undergraduate degree.
  • Demonstrate superior academic achievement (all A’s or equivalent).
  • Show financial need that would otherwise prevent them from attending UBC.
  • Meet UBC’s general admission and English language requirements.

Benefits:

The UBC International Scholars Program covers:
