Known for her dedication to education and helping the less privileged, Ruth attended Abeokuta Girls Grammar School and the University of Ibadan. On the 20th anniversary of her passing, the foundation was created to continue her legacy, embodying her values of empowering others and fostering educational opportunities. The foundation now provides scholarships to support Nigerian students in vocational and technical education.
RTF Technical & Vocational Scholarship Overview
The Ruth Titilayo Technical and Vocational Scholarship is designed to support Nigerian students studying technical and vocational courses through institutions approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The scholarship is a grant-based package, aimed at covering essential costs, from tuition to maintenance, ensuring students have the resources to focus on their studies.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition Allowance: Up to ₦100,000 to help with academic fees.
- Maintenance Allowance: Up to ₦15,000 for living expenses.
- Additional Allowances: At the discretion of the scholarship committee, the scholarship may also cover costs for travel related to the course, research expenses, or fieldwork.
Eligibility Requirements
