Program Details:
The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program welcomes students from various academic fields and does not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or disability. This highly competitive, merit-based program selects participants based on academic performance, leadership qualities, and readiness to study in the U.S. Since its inception in 2008, over 2,500 students have benefited from the program, gaining leadership skills and further opportunities such as Fulbright grants and international internships.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the Global UGRAD Program 2025, applicants must:
- Be over 18 years old.
- Be a citizen of a participating country and currently residing there.
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a recognized university with at least one year remaining after the program.
- Have completed secondary education.
- Have good written and spoken English skills (some finalists may receive English language training).
- Be able to start studies in the U.S. in either August 2023 or January 2024.
- Be eligible for a J-1 U.S. student exchange visa.
- Be cleared medically to participate.
- Commit to returning to their home country after the program.
