Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must:
- Be under 26 years old (born on or after January 1, 1998).
- Be from a UN or UNESCO member state.
- Have a launched product with local impact (previously submitted products with significant changes are allowed).
- Allow WSA non-commercial rights for promotional purposes.
- Ensure the submission adheres to human rights principles and excludes content promoting violence, fraud, racism, or discrimination.
- Submit a complete application following WSA guidelines.
Application Tips
- Explainer Video (Recommended): Provide a short, high-resolution video about your digital solution. It helps the jury understand your innovation quickly.
- Short Description: Write a brief 2-3 sentence description of your solution, its purpose, and the problem it addresses.
- Problem and Solution: Clearly describe the local issue your solution addresses and its impact. Detail how your solution works and its intended results.
- Local Context and Relevance: Explain why your solution is relevant to your local area and its specific impact.
- Stage of Development: Indicate if your solution is established, fully functioning, testing, or in beta. Provide a launch date if in testing or beta.
- Competition and Target Group: Identify competitors and your solution’s unique selling point (USP). Specify your target audience and user base.
- Team and Motivation: Introduce your team, their experiences, governance structure, and advisory support. Explain your motivation and goals.
- Impact and Achievements: Share success metrics and milestones, detailing your solution’s measurable impact and the SDGs it addresses.
- Technology and Testing: Mention any relevant technologies used (e.g., AR, VR, AI). Provide testing information, including login details and navigation tips.
- Sustainability and Business Model: Explain your business’s financial sustainability and long-term viability. Share your business and revenue model details.
