West Africa Solar Training Program Details
The RETTI X WAVE Solar Training Program aims to train youths, women, and less privileged individuals on Solar Power Design, Installation, and Employability Skills. This initiative promotes access to skilled workers for the energy transition. The program’s goal is to invest in the technical capacity of young Nigerians in Renewable Energy Technology and provide opportunities for career advancement in the energy value chain. It aims to produce a competent workforce for the renewable energy industry and build entrepreneurs who will advance access to clean energy for millions in Nigeria without access.
Eligibility Requirements for RETTI WAVE West Africa Solar Training Program
To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Aged 15 – 35 years
- Residents of Lagos Mainland (Ikeja – Surulere Axis)
- Demonstrate seriousness to learn and be able to attend the 2-week in-person training and commit to the program (any missed class will lead to disqualification, and the slot will be given to a more serious applicant)
- Familiarity with basic calculations and the use of a calculator
