Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Nile University of Nigeria Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nigerian Students:
- Must take the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination or UTME and obtain the approved cut-off mark.
- Present 5 credits at no more than two sittings (WAEC or NECO).
- Direct Entry Candidates:
- Must have completed OND, NCE, HND, ‘A’ level GCE, SBS, JUPEB, IJMB, or any other higher qualification.
- Transfer Candidates:
- Preference is given to candidates from national universities unless on academic probation. A minimum GPA of 1.50 CGPA (3rd class) on a 5.0 scale is required for transfer and commencement from the appropriate level.
- General Admission Requirements:

- Academic Excellence:
- Applicants with a UTME score of 320 and above + 5 A1s in O-LEVEL are eligible for a 100% scholarship.
- Sports Excellence:
- Applicants with outstanding performance in sports at the national or professional level are eligible for a 100% scholarship.
- Academic Maintenance:
- Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum average CGPA of 3.50 to retain their scholarships each new session.
