Scholarship Details
The NHIR Masters Studentship, funded by the NIHR INSIGHT programme, offers competitive awards for newly qualified and early-career health and care professionals with up to three years of practice experience. These studentships enable individuals to gain academic training and the skills necessary to manage and deliver health and care research as part of their future careers, either in research or in combination with practice.
Participants will have the opportunity to enroll in one of two Masters in Research (MRes) programs at either UWE Bristol or Bournemouth University.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the NHIR Masters Studentship, applicants must:
- Be working towards or registered with one of the medical regulatory bodies.
- Be newly graduated or have up to five years of practice experience as a registered health or care professional.
- Be planning to apply and study for the Masters in Research Health and Care Research at UWE Bristol or the Masters in Research (MRes) at Bournemouth University.
