RES4Africa Foundation, in collaboration with Enel Foundation, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the European Investment Bank (EIB), is excited to announce the 11th edition of the Executive School. Established in 2014, this prestigious program aims to equip high-achieving individuals with the essential technical, economic, and regulatory competencies to advance renewable energy solutions in Africa’s evolving electricity markets.
About RES4Africa (Renewable Energy Solutions for Africa)
RES4Africa is a Foundation that supports Africa’s just energy transition to achieve SDG7, ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. Acting as a bridge between Europe and Africa, RES4Africa gathers a network of members from the clean energy sector across both continents and facilitates high-level international partnerships to mobilize investments in clean energy technologies.
Aim and Benefits of RES4Africa Foundation Executive School
The scholarship includes:
- All lectures and workshops
- Flights and travel
- Accommodations
- Meals during the Executive School days
The scholarship does not cover:
- Transfer to/from the airport of origin
- Visa fees
- Medical insurance for staying in Italy
- Any extras beyond public transport, transfers, accommodations, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners organized in Milan by RES4Africa
Requirements for RES4Africa Foundation Executive School Qualification
The Executive School, conducted entirely in English, will take place from November 25 to December 6, 2024, in Milan, Italy. It is tailored for institutional and high-level managers and professionals from various sectors, including public institutions, energy companies, universities, and research agencies across Africa. Additionally, Ph.D. or Master’s level students and researchers from Italian universities are also welcome.
Eligibility criteria:
- Be a citizen of an African country
- Have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the energy field
- Be eligible to travel to Italy (check applicable procedures well in advance)
- Be fully proficient in English
