The DDSA Visit Grant Scholarship, offered by the Danish Data Science Academy, invites students and researchers worldwide to visit data science research environments in Denmark. The aim is to foster collaborations with Danish universities or research institutions and inspire potential future DDSA fellowship applications.
Who Can Apply for The Fully Funded Denmark DDSA Visit Grant Scholarships?
- Danish and international students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees
- PhD students
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Applicants must be enrolled or employed at a university at the time of the planned visit, or the visit must occur within one year of completing enrolment or employment.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applications will be assessed based on:
- Motivation, scientific purpose, and intended outcome of the visit
- Relevance of the applicant’s scientific profile to DDSA Fellowships
- Letter of support from the host institution/supervisor
How to Apply:
- Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year.
- The application process takes approximately 6 weeks.
- Each applicant may receive one grant per year, and supervisors can host up to 3 visiting applicants annually.
What’s the Benefit?
The grant provides up to DKK 15,000 to cover travel, accommodation, and related expenses. However, it doesn’t include salary, daily allowances, food, or local transportation. DDSA encourages the use of public transport and evaluates requests for private vehicle usage on a case-by-case basis.
Duration of Award:
The award is valid for 3 years.
