Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu and the Iyaloja-General, has been appointed as the Ambassador for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education. This significant appointment was announced by the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Muhammad Sani Idris, during a visit to her home in Lagos.
In a statement released by the Commission’s spokesperson, Nura Muhammad, it was emphasized that Tinubu-Ojo was chosen due to her “passion for supporting disadvantaged communities, particularly Almajiri and out-of-school children.” This focus aligns with the government’s goal of enhancing educational access for vulnerable populations in Nigeria.
