This initiative aims to fund local ideas from young people that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their communities.
Funding
The Open Call supports community-based projects through micro-grant funding for individual young people or youth groups tackling sustainable development challenges.
- Individual young people and informal groups: 500 to 1,500 EUR.
- Registered youth organizations: 3,000 to 5,000 EUR.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this funding, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Open to young people aged 14 to 30 from countries eligible for Official Development Assistance.
- Projects should address global challenges aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Focus Areas
The initiative is focused on increasing the participation of under-represented young people, including:
- Projects by or for underrepresented young people and groups.
- Individuals in challenging circumstances, from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
- Individuals facing barriers related to gender or disability.
- Projects addressing climate change and environmental sustainability.
Application Process
Applications are open from June 27 until July 21. Young people from eligible countries are encouraged to apply. The application process is straightforward and accessible, with forms available online and in multiple languages.
