The University of Kent, in collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, has made available The GREAT Scholarships 2025 for students from China, France, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, and Turkey.
The University of Kent GREAT Scholarship provides talented individuals the opportunity to pursue one-year taught postgraduate degrees at the University of Kent’s UK campuses while promoting cultural and academic exchange.
Successful applicants have the opportunity to represent the GREAT brand and UK Higher Education experience, boosting their personal and professional profile.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens and residents of one of the following countries: China, France, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, or Turkey, and classified as an overseas fee payer.
- Hold a conditional offer for a full-time, 12-month taught postgraduate course at the University of Kent’s UK campuses and accept the offer before the application deadline.
- Begin their course in September 2025.
- Demonstrate an active interest in their field of study through work experience or proven engagement.
- Commit to embodying the UK Higher Education experience by participating in both academic and extracurricular activities.
- Represent the GREAT brand and act as an advocate for UK education.
- Attend a networking event with other GREAT scholars.
