The Türkiye First Class Scholarship is a government-funded competitive scholarship program awarded to international students and researchers to pursue full-time degree and research at the most prestigious universities in Türkiye.
The Türkiye Scholarship, a comprehensive and unique scholarship Program, considers everything that international students will need during their academic studies while discovering Türkiye and acquiring new skills.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
Minimum Academic Achievement
- For undergraduate candidates: 70%
- For graduate candidates: 75%
- For candidates of Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy): 90%
Age Criteria
- For undergraduate programs: being under the age of 21
- For master’s programs: being under the age of 30
- For PhD programs: being under the age of 35
- For Research Scholarship: being under the age of 50
Eligible Groups:
- Citizens of all countries
- Graduates or those who will graduate at the end of the current academic year (before August 2024)
- Researchers and academics
Ineligible Groups:
- Turkish citizens and individuals who have lost Turkish citizenship
- Individuals who are currently enrolled in programs in Turkish universities at the level of education will apply.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of this scholarship will receive:
- University and department placements unlike other higher education scholarship programs.
- Tuition fees.
- Accommodation for students arriving in a new country
- Once-off flight ticket.
- Access to widespread health services when necessary with health insurance.
- A monthly stipend: 3,500 TL at the undergraduate level, 5,000 TL at the Master’s level, and 6,500 TL at the PhD level per month.
