The Northumbria International Scholarship will award students who join at Level 4 (the first year of an Undergraduate degree) and those who join with advanced entry to Level 5 and Level 6 (top-up awards) a £6,000 tuition fee discount.
Students will also receive £2,000 in subsequent years, up to a total of £10,000.

Scholarship Details
The Northumbria International Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount and applicants do not need to make a separate application for the program.
Students joining with advanced entry to Level 5 and Level 6 (top-up awards) are eligible and strongly adviced to apply for the International Scholarship.
Successful applicants will receive a maximum of three years’ discount, to a total of £10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
- Be domiciled in Nigeria
- Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
- Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Undergraduate course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, in September 2025
- Meet all individual course requirements
