Scholarship Details 

Schwarzman scholarship offers a one-year, fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. The scholarship is designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve as global leaders, reflecting the diversity, vibrancy and promise of the world at large. 

The Schwarzman Scholars Program supports up to 200 Scholars annually from the U.S., China, and around the world for a one-year master’s in global affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University — ranked first in Asia as an indispensable base for China’s political, business, and technological leadership.

Schwarzman Scholars Program brings together a diverse cohort of young leaders from all regions and sectors of the world who embrace each other’s differences while working on a joint mission.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be qualified for The Schwarzman Scholars Program, applicants must:

  • Have an undergraduate degree
  • Be 18-28 years of age
  • Be proficient in the English language
  • In addition, they are expected to demonstrate extraordinary leadership skills, the ability to anticipate and act on trends and changes in their context, strong intellectual capacity, and exemplary character.

Required Documents 

To apply for The Schwarzman Scholars Program, applicants must prepare to submit:

  • Complete online Application Form
  • Resume or CV (maximum 2 pages).
  • 3 Letters of recommendation
  • Essays- Leadership Essay (750 words) and a Statement of Purpose (500 words).
  • Academic transcripts
  • A short video self-introduction of no more than 1 minute.
