The aim of NLNG is to engage suitably qualified candidates for employment as Operators, Trainee Technicians and Trainee Lab Analysts.
NLNG was incorporated as a limited liability company on May 17, 1989, to harness Nigeria’s vast natural gas resources and produce Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLS) for the domestic and export markets. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this program, applicants must:
For the position of TRAINEE TECHNICIAN, candidate must:
- Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Metallurgical or Instrumentation Engineering obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.
For the position of TRAINEE LAB ANALYST, applicants must:
- Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Science Laboratory Technology obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.
- For the above-listed positions, candidates should also possess the following:
- Proficiency in information technology, innovation, and digitalization.
- Have completed NYSC not earlier than the year 2021.
OPERATOR Position, applicants must:
- Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical, Instrumentation, Petroleum/Gas, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics /Electrical Engineering, obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.
- Have 4 years of working experience in LNG operations.
- Have skill in LNG process and auxiliary operating areas (Gas Transmission, NG treatment, NG Pre-cooling and Liquefaction, Liquid Handling Unit, LNG utilities, Storage and Loading).
