The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (AfricaCDC) is pleased to announce the Biomanufacturing Fellowship Program 2025, a fully sponsored opportunity tailored to develop high-level technical and leadership competencies for employees in biomanufacturing companies across Africa.
This two-year hybrid program offers both theoretical and hands-on experience, with participants specializing in a chosen area of biomanufacturing, alongside comprehensive training in leadership, resource management, and entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Requirements
To be qualified for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens of an African Union Member State
- Be employed by an active vaccine/biomanufacturing company
- Hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Have a valid passport
- Be willing to travel occasionally for short training courses
- Obtain a support letter from their employer
- Be able to dedicate the time needed for full program participation
Fields of Study
Applicants should hold degrees in fields such as:
- Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Biotechnology
- Chemistry and Biochemistry
- Biochemical Engineering
