Scholarship Details
Every year, Dalarna University awards partial scholarships to a number of its new international, fee-paying Master’s students who have proven themselves to be outstanding in their educational endeavours.
The Dalarna University Masters Scholarships go directly towards a reduction in applicants’ tuition fees and will cover between 10 and 50 percent of their total tuition fees.
The amount that applicants are awarded is automatically deducted in set amounts each semester over the duration of their programme.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Have studied at least one semester (Master’s level) or two semester’s (Bachelor’s level) within a degree programme that is taught on campus at Dalarna University.
- Be continuing the same degree programme for at least one more semester of full-time study.
- Have achieved at least 50% results of VG, or a mix of 5 and 4 or a mix of A and B depending on the grading scale used. No courses can have final results lower than a 3 or C.
- Have successfully completed all credits from the first semester/year by the time the scholarship decision is made.
- Be verified as “outstanding” by the faculty in your programme.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the scholarship will receive:
- 10 000 SEK tuition-fee waiver for each remaining semester of full-time studies in the programme applicants are currently studying.

To apply for this scholarship:
- Visit the program’s webpage.
- Apply for admission to a Master’s program at the university.
- Proceed further to apply for the scholarship before the commencement of studies.
- Applicants need to ensure they complete the online application form and upload the above documents by the final dates stated above (i.e., September 30 or March 1, depending on the semester).
- If applicants do not submit all documents by the final date, then their application will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.
