Every year Mälardalen University offers a limited number of scholarships to students applying for a Master’s programme with us as their first choice.
Malardalen University is renowned for its cutting-edge research and student-focused approach. Nestled in one of Sweden’s most dynamic regions, it offers a collaborative learning environment and excellent support for international students.
The Malardalen University Scholarship is aimed at especially qualified students coming from countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland and who are required to pay tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be international students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
- Must have applied for a Master’s program at Malardalen University as their first choice.
- Meet the university’s academic requirements for the chosen program.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in English through recognized tests like IELTS or TOEFL.
- Only fee-paying students are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the scholarship will receive:
- The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee of the programme as long as applicants follow the normal study plan (minimum 22.5 credits/semester, minimum 45 credits/academic year). The scholarship does not cover living expenses.
- If an applicant’s status from being a fee-paying student to a non-paying student is changed during the study period of the programme, such applicant will no longer be granted the scholarship.
