Impact at Scale Labs Details
The Impact at Scale Labs – Foundational Literacy and Numeracy program seeks to enhance educational outcomes by working with locally-led organizations. The selected organizations will receive:
- Intensive Coaching: Organizations will receive guidance to build and implement their evidence-based scale strategy.
- Funding: Up to $200,000 will be provided to support the organization’s scaling action plan, with a mutually agreed percentage allocated to strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) outcomes.
- Extended Duration: The intensive support lasts up to 18 months, followed by continued engagement as part of the GSF community.
- Focus on Evidence: The impact and scaling process of each solution will be measured and shared.
- Relationships for Scale: Organizations will be supported to embed their solutions within the broader system.
Who Will the Lab Support?
The program focuses on selecting approaches that improve teaching and pedagogical methods, such as structured pedagogy and teaching at the right level. Priority will be given to:
- In-School Interventions: Targeting primary grades 1-3.
- Higher Grades of Primary: For continued educational support.
- Remedial Programs: To aid in recovery and support.
Eligibility Criteria
Impact at Scale Labs supports medium-sized or large education organizations with solutions at either the launch phase or the growth stage. Examples of successful solutions from previous Lab participants can be found here.
