University of Queensland Vice Chancellor Scholarship Details:
The University of Queensland Vice Chancellor Scholarship aims to support and encourage international students who are enrolling or are currently enrolled in a degree program at the University of Queensland. This scholarship is part of the UQ Academic Scholarship program, established in 2009, and funded by the University of Queensland and donors.
University of Queensland Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the University of Queensland Scholarship, you must:
- Be a current or intending domestic or international student of UQ
- Have achieved a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 99.00 (or equivalent) for your year 12 studies
- Complete, or have completed, year 12 in the two-year period prior to the year of the award
- Have not completed any previous tertiary study other than as part of your Year 11–12 studies (e.g., Enhanced Studies Program)
- Have applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and have UQ listed as your 1st QTAC preference
- Intend to enroll as a full-time student in a UQ undergraduate program in 2025 (or 2026 if deferring your tertiary place)
- Have not undertaken any tertiary study at the Bachelor level or higher prior to enrolling in the programs listed above (new students)
- Not hold another scholarship that the Director considers to be similar
Queensland Vice Chancellor Scholarship Duration and Reward
The University of Queensland Vice Chancellor Scholarship provides an annual award of $12,000 to all selected candidates for a period of five years.
