The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the release of deployment letters for the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II prospective corps members (PCMs).

In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, the NYSC urged PCMs to avoid traveling at night while heading to their designated orientation camps for safety reasons.

The scheme also directed all PCMs to print and sign an addendum, a document required for submission during the registration process upon arrival at the orientation camps.

For logistical purposes, the NYSC revealed that some PCMs deployed to Lagos State would have their orientation courses held in Ekiti, Ondo, and Osun States. Similarly, those deployed to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will undertake their orientation in Nasarawa and Kaduna States.

The statement reads:
“2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II deployment has been released. PCMs are advised not to travel at night to the Orientation Camp.

“Prospective Corps Members are advised to print and sign the Addendum, which is to be submitted during registration in the Orientation Camp.

“Some PCMs deployed to Lagos will have their Orientation Course in Ekiti, Ondo, and Osun. Some PCMs deployed to FCT will have their Orientation Course in Nasarawa and Kaduna Camps.”
