The Women Techsters Fellowship program is a FREE 1-year experiential learning technology upskilling program that empowers young girls and women between ages 16 to 40 years, across Africa with global in-demand skills relevant to kickstart careers and businesses in technology.
The program aims to bridge the digital and technology knowledge divide between men and women in the technology ecosystem and ensure equal access to technology opportunities for women and girls.

Fellowship Details
The Women Techsters Fellowship is a tuition-free 12-month intensive technology skills learning program (6-month training period and 6-month paid internship period) across eight learning tracks:
- DevOps,
- Cybersecurity,
- Data Science and Engineering,
- Mobile Application Development,
- Product Design,
- Product Management,
- Software Development (Frontend and Backend Development).
The fellowship is a highly competitive program, admitting only the top 3% of applicants. It is a comprehensive 1-year program divided into two phases:
- The first 6 months focus on in-depth technical and soft skill training,
- The last 6 months provide practical work experience that includes opportunities for internships, volunteering, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and mentoring.
This ensures that participants gain real-world experience and can apply their newly acquired skills in real world scenarios.

To be eligible for this fellowship, applicants must:
- Be African Girls and Women (ages 16 – 40)
- Reside in African Countries.
- Be willing to dedicate time
- Be hardworking
- Be a team player
- Identify tech as a propeller for her future.
