Umeå University offers scholarships to academically talented and high-achieving students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
These scholarships are awarded in conjunction with the Autumn semester admission and are offered as tuition waivers, covering either full or partial tuition fees. The scholarship aims to support students pursuing full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s programs at Umeå University.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
- Must have applied for a full program at Umeå University (Bachelor’s or Master’s) by January 15, 2025.
- Must have completed the program application and paid the application fee by February 3, 2025.
- Must have listed Umeå University as priority 1 on University Admissions by January 15, 2025.
- Second-year Master’s students at Umeå University continuing their studies are also eligible.
