Scholarship Details
The focus of the US Embassy Higher Education Grant Opportunity is on standard advising centers and supporting students through financial assistance for the application process.
The implementing partner will work closely with the Education Specialists of the Public Diplomacy Section in Abuja and Lagos to support the 2025-26 Education Advising Program in Nigeria, including the EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program. The partner will also assist Standard Advising Centers in Calabar, Jos, Ibadan, and Kano.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the The US Embassy Higher Education Grant Opportunity, applicants must:
- Applicants are only allowed to submit one proposal per organization. If more than one proposal is submitted from an organization, all proposals from that institution will be considered ineligible for funding.
- All organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued via SAM.gov as well as a valid registration in SAM.gov.
- Be Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations.
- Be Public and private educational institutions.
- Public international organizations and governmental institutions.
