FG Announces 2025/2026 CSFP Nomination Interview for Eligible Applicants

CSFP Nomination Interview

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the scheduled dates for the 2025/2026 Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) Nomination Interview, which will take place from November 25 to 29, 2024.

The Honorable Minister of Education, Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, has invited all candidates who have completed their CSFP application via the Electronic Application System (EAS) and met the requirements outlined in the 2024 CSFP Prospectus to attend the interview.

Interview Requirements:

Candidates who submitted their EAS forms are required to bring the following documents to the interview:

  • One hard copy of the EAS form
  • Original credentials and one photocopy of each
  • Evidence of submission of at least two referee reports
  • Supporting Statement from a UK Supervisor (for Ph.D. candidates only)
  • Original academic transcripts
  • Original and photocopy of NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Evidence of any special awards, prizes, academic publications, or samples of work
  • A first degree with at least a Second Class Upper for Master’s degree candidates
  • A relevant Master’s degree plus at least a Second Class Lower in the first degree for Ph.D. candidates
  • An admission letter from any of the UK universities listed on the Commonwealth website

Important Notes:

  • Candidates must be accredited before the interview.
  • Any candidate missing the required documents will not be allowed to attend.
  • Interviews will only be conducted for candidates attending on their specific scheduled date based on their zone.
  • Foreign non-English certificates must be translated and evaluated in English.
  • Candidates are advised to monitor the progress of their application to confirm their referees’ responses.
  • Only candidates who selected the Federal Scholarship Board as their Nominating Agency should attend.
