Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be international applicants (not citizens of Hungary or holders of dual nationality with Hungary).
- Be over 18 years old as of August 31, 2025.
- Not currently enrolled in any Hungarian higher institution on a self-financed basis.
- Not have previously benefited from this scholarship.
Scholarship Rewards:
- For Bachelor’s, Master’s, One-tier Master’s, and Non-degree Programs:
- Tuition: Exemption from tuition fees.
- Monthly Stipend: Approx. EUR 110 (HUF 43,700) for living expenses for 12 months annually until completion.
- Accommodation: Free dormitory placement or a HUF 40,000/month contribution for rent.
- Medical Insurance: National health insurance and supplementary insurance up to EUR 170 (HUF 65,000) per year.
- For Doctoral Programs:
- Tuition: Full exemption from tuition fees.
- Monthly Stipend: EUR 365 (HUF 140,000) for the first phase (4 semesters) and EUR 470 (HUF 180,000) for the second phase.
- Accommodation: Similar to the other programs, with a HUF 40,000/month rental contribution.
- Medical Insurance: Health services per Hungarian law and up to EUR 170 annually.
