Studying in China just became more accessible with the China Link Scholarships 2025, allowing international students to study at the Harbin Institute of Technology. The application deadlines for nomination candidates are July 15, 2024, October 15, 2024, and January 15, 2025.
The China Link Scholarship Program, established by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), offers full scholarships for international students and faculty members to engage in academic and research activities at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). This full scholarship for international students covers tuition, accommodation, insurance, and a monthly stipend for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as faculty members from CSC’s foreign partner universities.
To apply for the China Link Scholarships 2025, candidates must be citizens of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, possess good moral character, and academic excellence, and be in good health. General scholarship applicants must be under 45 years old, while senior scholarship applicants must be under 50. Candidates should be registered as full-time students or employed as full-time academic staff at one of CSC’s foreign partner universities and have received a pre-admission or invitation letter from HIT.
Applicants must submit the following documents for the China Link Scholarship application:
- Passport homepage
- Certificate of highest education
- Transcripts of highest education
- Study plan (minimum 500 words)
- Physical examination record for stays over six months
- Non-criminal records report for stays over six months
- Pre-admission letter (optional)
- Published papers or articles (optional)
- Language proficiency certificate (optional)
- Other supporting documents (optional)
Successful candidates will benefit from tuition coverage, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and a monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).
The application process involves:
- Applying for pre-admission documents or invitations from HIT.
- Completing the CSC online application and uploading supporting documents via the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System. HIT’s Agency Number is 10213.
- CSC sending scholarship admission results to HIT on May 15, 2024; August 15, 2024; November 15, 2024; and February 15, 2025.
- HIT notifying applicants of the scholarship admission results.
