Oyo Policies Support Basic Education – SUBEB Chairman

Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), stated that the state government has implemented policies to support basic education for children, especially during the global economic crisis. Speaking on Children’s Day, Adeniran emphasized that children in both public and private schools deserve the best education as they are the state’s most valuable asset.

He remarked, “Our efforts for our children today are a promise for a better tomorrow.” Adeniran, an educationist, added that investing in children is essential for rapid national growth. He wished all Nigerian children, particularly those in public basic schools in Oyo, a joyful celebration. He prayed, “May the innocence and promise of our children fill our homes and hearts with happiness and fond memories to cherish forever.”

Meanwhile, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, called for creating a safe and conducive environment for all children across the country. Felicitating with children on Children’s Day, he urged them to uphold good behaviour and discipline, which are fundamental for personal and societal progress. Alli acknowledged the dedication of parents and guardians in raising responsible citizens.
