Scholarship Details
The 2024 NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship is now open for qualified Nigerian students. Under the umbrella of the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCO), Nigerian Agip Exploration, TotalEnergies Nigeria, and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria (Deepwater) Limited are inviting applications for this prestigious scholarship.
NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship Requirements
This scholarship is available to FULL TIME undergraduates studying in Nigerian universities. To qualify for the NNPC/Shell Scholarship 2024, applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens.
- Be in their second year of full-time study at a Nigerian University accredited by the NUC.
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system or its equivalent.
- Not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship from entities in the Oil and Gas industry, nationally or internationally.
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Benefits of NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship
Winners of the NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship receive:
- A yearly grant of 200,000 Naira.
- Continuation of the scholarship throughout the duration of their undergraduate studies.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- Recent passport-sized photograph (JPEG format, not exceeding 200 kilobytes).
- University or JAMB Admission Letter.
- UTME Result.
- O’ Level Result(s) and ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Result(s) if applicable.
- Letter of Identification from State of Origin indicating applicant’s local government.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average after the first year.

- Register to create an account and activate it via email.
- Fill in personal, educational, and other information, and upload required documents.
- Ensure all uploaded documents are clear and accurate.
- Submit the application and await confirmation via email and SMS.
- Download your profile from the provided link and have it signed by your Head of Department.
- Upload the signed profile for verification.
