The IFC MAS GrowAfrica Intern Program is designed to help graduate students transition from academic studies to professional careers. This program offers hands-on experience in agribusiness project delivery, allowing interns to contribute to the development of agribusiness in Africa.
GrowAfrica is seeking six interns to work on Upstream and Advisory projects. These projects aim to reduce operational risks of IFC investment projects by strengthening supply chains, addressing food security, and increasing collaboration with the World Bank.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the IFC MAS GrowAfrica Internship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Studying agriculture-related fields such as crop science, agricultural economics, agronomy, or soil management.
- Relevant specialized experience is an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in English (plus Hausa for Nigeria, Portuguese for Angola/Mozambique, French for Senegal).
