About the Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship:
The Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship 2024 invites qualified Nigerian students to apply for financial assistance. Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, the operator of the Umusadege Field in OML 56, Delta State, and its JV Partner, SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited, have been investing in human capital development in their host communities and Delta State to foster economic progress.
Scholarship Categories:
- University Community Award: For students from host communities only.
- University Merit Award: For students who are Delta State indigenes only.
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for the Midwestern Oil and Gas University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- General Eligibility:
- Open to 100 and 200 level students at the time of application.
- Must have a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE or GCE, including Mathematics and English, in one sitting.
- Must possess a JAMB/UTME and university admission letter from an accredited university in Nigeria.
- Must have a current university ID card.
- Must provide an identification letter signed by the Ward Councillor or the Community Accredited Contact-men Committee (CACC).
- University Merit Award (Delta State Indigenes Only):
- Open to 200 level students with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
- Must have a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE or GCE, including Mathematics and English, in one sitting.
- Must possess a JAMB/UTME and university admission letter from an accredited university in Nigeria.
- Must have a current university ID card.
- Must have a letter of identification from the local government area (LGA).
