Scholarship Details
Sponsored by the Malaysian government, the MTCP Scholarship is designed for international students from developing countries. This scholarship aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of their home countries. The duration of the scholarship is 24 to 36 months for a Master’s Degree Programme.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Government of Malaysia MTCP Scholarship, applicants must:
- Enroll in a study program in one of the following fields: Science, Technology, and Engineering (excluding nursing, medicine, and clinical pharmacy), Economics, Finance, Management and Banking, Social Science and Humanities, Information and Communication Technology, International Relations and Political Science, Agriculture and Aquaculture, or Education at an eligible university.
- Be no more than 45 years old.
- Have second-class upper honors with a minimum GPA of 3.50.
- Submit scores from the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS: 6.0
- TOEFL IBT: 70
