Southern Denmark University (SDU) offers scholarships through the Government of Denmark Scholarship program to highly qualified international applicants. This scholarship recognizes the significant investment overseas students make during their education.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Government of Denmark Scholarship at SDU, you must:
- Be an international non-EEU/EEA applicant
- Enroll in one of the following Master’s programs in Sønderborg:
- MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics
- MSc in Engineering – Electronics
- MSc in Engineering – Mechanical Engineering
- Submit your application for admission by February 1, even if you have a Danish residence permit
- Include all necessary documentation at the time of submission (SDU should not request further documentation)
Scholarship Benefits
- The scholarship is granted as full or partial tuition fee waivers
- A full tuition fee waiver covers the tuition fee for two years (four semesters)
- A partial tuition fee waiver covers the tuition fee for one year (second and fourth semesters)
